Local branch 001 of AKT, the Finnish Road Transport Workers' Union, brings together road transport employees from several sectors. A branch committee runs its activities, while members can influence its work and employment advocacy through general meetings.
Membership is arranged using the AKT form, which also authorises collection of membership dues. The union helps resolve workplace disputes and represents members' interests. The branch has an office where its annual general meeting is also held.
