Founded in 1961, the motorboating association manages marinas at Metsola and Hovinsaari, with around 600 berths rented to members. Its own tractors provide lifting and launching for boats up to roughly ten tonnes. Winter storage areas also include Sapokka.
Members can use boat inspections and take part in training and boating trips. Marina access uses a locking system, and an automated fuel station operates year-round. The association promotes boat owners' shared interests and safe boating. The branch entrance is wheelchair accessible.
