Founded in 2001, the string ensemble brings together beginners, former pupils and professional music students. Violin teacher Eija Vilkki leads the group, whose approach centres on positively motivating cooperative learning. Its repertoire covers classical, light and folk music.
The ensemble performs actively within the music institute's area. Groups of different sizes can be booked for events through the association.
