The maritime safety and transport research centre brings together Finnish universities and research institutes. It approaches sustainable maritime development through environmental, technological, economic and regulatory perspectives.
Research topics include shipping safety and resilience, cargo residue treatment, digital tools for oil spill response and unmanned vessels. Scenario tools also support foresight and regional preparedness. Wheelchair-accessible parking is available.
