Founded in 1945, the local professional association belongs to an STTK-affiliated union. Members work for municipalities, companies, associations and parishes in fields including administration, ICT, youth work, social and health care, libraries and education.
The union negotiates collective agreements and offers employment-related legal services. Unemployment protection is provided through the Aaria fund. Local benefits include a holiday cottage, and the association uses its funds for member training and recreation.
