The sawmill company buys pine and spruce from Kainuu forests and processes sawn timber for business customers in Finland and abroad. Founded in 1955, it began production in March 1959 with an electrically powered frame saw. Early export destinations included England, Belgium and Denmark.
Timber is purchased through standing-timber and procurement sales. Sawn timber can also be produced to customer specifications on request.
