According to its website, this is Finland's Orthodox church museum, a specialist museum of national and international significance. The permanent collection presents the history of the Finnish Orthodox Church and Orthodox culture, alongside rotating exhibitions. The museum hosts concerts, lectures and a Christmas craft market, and an image service provides photographs from the collection for non-commercial and commercial use.
Guided tours are offered for groups, including school groups. The Museum Card, Kaikukortti and Epassi and Edenred meal vouchers are accepted. Free parking nearby uses a 2-hour parking disc, and the museum is accessible: the car park, entrance and toilet are wheelchair accessible.
