The restaurant is known for fried vendace dishes served with mashed potatoes. Alongside the classics there is a vendace burger, breaded and fried meat and traditional Finnish dishes such as veal schnitzel and minced meat patties. Vendace has been served here for over 90 years, and the business began as a café in 1931. The name and premises have stayed the same for a long time, and the interior is traditional.
Lunch is served on weekdays from 11 to 14. Dishes can be ordered for delivery via Wolt or for take-away through the Food&Events app, and tables can be booked on the website. Gift cards work at all Resteli restaurants. No cash is accepted, for cost and safety reasons. The seating and toilet are wheelchair accessible, but the car park is not.
