Founded in 1990, the association offers peer support, information and activities for people with Parkinson's and other movement disorders and their relatives. It serves Northern Savonia through local clubs and belongs to the Movement Disorders Association of Finland.
Activities include the HelmiOskari peer group, a digital skills club for older people, gym and sports hall sessions, and bowling. An information evening is offered to new members, newly diagnosed people and their relatives.
