The umbrella organisation of over 500 local youth societies offers cultural hobbies and community activities for children, young people and adults. The movement began in 1881 with its first society in Kauhava.
Members have access to a services section, membership register, online shop and activity calendar. The organisation runs a youth society museum in Laihia and a digital museum and publishes a history series about the movement.
