This French artisan bakery and pâtisserie makes handmade pastries, macarons and cakes. Pastry chef Moona Mankinen has worked at Le Negresco in Nice and at Le Chantecler, a two-Michelin-star restaurant. The café opened in April 2023, founded by a French-Finnish couple, and it favours local ingredients such as berries, fish and cheeses from the region.
A monthly brunch with a French-Nordic twist must be booked in advance, with limited seats, and tables can be reserved at other times too. Specialty coffee comes from a small roaster in Lahti, and espressos, lattes and teas are served at the table. Catering and custom orders come with delivery. Seating, entrance and toilet are wheelchair accessible, but there is no hearing loop.
