This local history museum covers the area's history from the Ice Age to the present day. The main exhibition, Hyvä paikka, presents the history of the Päijät-Häme region after the last Ice Age, and a temporary photo exhibition tells the 100-year history of Aurinkolinna in Nastola. Guided tours of the exhibitions last one or one and a half hours. The museum belongs to a network of museums that also includes Malva, Mastola and the Hiihtomuseo ski museum. The museum shop sells the book Hyvä paikka on regional history, also available online and in bookshops.
Rooms in the manor can be hired for private and corporate events, for groups from a few people up to 80. The August Fellman hall seats 80, with projection, a sound system and a grand piano, and the restored Salonki room seats 40, with catering possible. The Atlen ullakko attic workshop room takes 30 and has a small kitchen. The museum can also arrange catering, guided tours alongside events and whole-museum bookings. The car park, entrance and toilet are wheelchair accessible.
