The hospital is run by the Päijät-Häme wellbeing services county. Emergency care is provided by the joint emergency centre Akuutti24, while outpatient clinics and wards offer specialist care in about 40 medical specialties. The lobby has an information desk on weekdays, a bank ATM and post box, a lockable cloakroom and lost property. On site are a café, the Ilves pharmacy and vending machines for drinks, snacks and coffee.
Parking is paid, with about 600 surface spaces and a parking building with about 600 more. A free 30-minute parking area is near the maternity ward entrance, and accessible spaces are in front of the main lobby. Charging points for electric cars in the parking building are for contract customers. Buses towards the city centre and Hollola stop in front of the hospital, and Kela taxis can be booked. A guest Wi-Fi called Vieras is available, and a chapel serves farewell gatherings. Hospital chaplains and volunteer guides and peer supporters are available. The entrance is wheelchair accessible.
