Founded in 1949, the Pentecostal congregation grew out of a revival in the 1930s. Its activities include prayer meetings, worship and a monthly communion celebration. It also runs a second-hand shop and mission café. Mission support focuses on Thailand, with earlier work supported in Kenya, Japan and Russian Karelia, among other places.
Its own street-level worship hall seats over a hundred people. The congregation has also taken part in local development and refugee work. There is wheelchair access to the entrance and car park, and a toilet is available.
