This restaurant and event venue is housed in a restored 19th-century rectory. The log-built rectory was constructed in 1871–73 as the parish vicar's residence and restored in 2003–2005 as an EU-funded training project. Seven rooms, which can be combined into four spaces of at least 30 people each, seat 150 guests. A covered veranda opens onto the park, with cherry trees and a summer theatre.
The restaurant is open by reservation year-round. It hosts family celebrations, meetings, seminars and company events, with seasonal menus for Easter, May Day, Mother's Day, Father's Day and Christmas. It is licensed for alcohol, as are parts of the garden, and dancing is permitted. Equipment includes AV, a wireless microphone, internet and a hybrid piano. Café Pehtoorintupa serves breakfast to holidaymakers and workplaces. The car park and toilet are wheelchair accessible.
