The nature conservation foundation supports animal welfare and game management. Its work includes Saimaa ringed seal conservation and sustainable fishing. It has also supported the restoration of migratory fish routes on the Hiitolanjoki river and awards an annual nature prize.
Grant applications are submitted electronically twice a year, in spring and autumn. A live camera allows viewers to watch Saimaa ringed seals during the summer.
