Suomen Vahinkotarkastus Oy carries out vehicle damage inspections for several insurers, including Fennia, Turva, LähiTapiola, POP and Pohjantähti. Inspection types include station inspections, field inspections ordered by the insurer, quality inspections and electronic inspections. It also inspects state vehicles and vehicles exempt from the insurance obligation on behalf of the State Treasury, and runs the online shop vaurioajoneuvo.fi for damaged vehicles.
An inspection appointment can be booked online, and an electronic photo inspection or an inspection request can be sent through the website. Phone service is open on weekdays 8 am to 4 pm. The office is located in the Autokorjaamo InCar premises, and information is available in Finnish, English and Swedish.
