Founded in 2006, the community house offers a meeting place and peer support for adults who have experienced mental health problems. It works partly to Fountain House principles. Members prepare breakfast and lunch together, plan activities and share daily house tasks.
Membership starts through trial visits, arranged in advance like introductory visits. It has no time limit, attendance is voluntary and members can come without advance notice. Digital help, internet access, printing, scanning and support with benefit applications are available. The entrance and parking area are wheelchair accessible.
Take part in the community? Share your experience in the comments for others considering an introductory visit.
