The private daycare centre was founded by a parents' association at the start of 1994. Around 30 children attend two groups: Tulitassut for ages 1–3 and Kultakaislat for ages 4–6. Daily activities include movement, crafts, singing, play and learning in the nearby forest.
Children use a gym weekly, ski and skate in winter, and take nature trips in other seasons. Preschool uses the Seikkailujen eskari workbook. Support needs are addressed with special education teachers, family counselling and speech therapists. Parents take part in the centre's daily life.
