This café belongs to a family-run confectionery and café chain founded by Raimo Liedes in 1997 and now run across three generations. There are seven locations: five in the home town, one in Kouvola and one in Kuopio. Pastries and cakes are baked by hand, and cakes are the main product. Each location has its own selection.
Besides baked goods and confectionery, lunch and à la carte food are served, and the range includes gluten-free products. The chain caters for family celebrations and corporate events, and sells savoury and sweet products in an online shop. Liedes has won the Finnish confectionery championship, and the city gave the company a business prize in 2012.
