This Christian non-profit supports humanitarian flights carrying food, water, medicines and other supplies to crisis areas and medical staff to remote villages. The international organisation was founded in 1945, and Finnish involvement began in 1976. Flights also include urgent medical evacuations to hospitals.
Support is possible through donations, monthly giving or corporate sponsorship. Postal news subscriptions and supporter products, including the book Harambee, are available. The Peltilintu camp introduces 16–19-year-olds to aviation hobbies and careers through a programme based on private pilot licence theory.
