This non-profit association works to reduce and eliminate unemployment in the area. It is politically non-aligned, and membership is open regardless of party, religion, skin colour, age or gender. Its main goal is to help unemployed people keep their ability to work and find employment, including by hiring the long-term unemployed. It has an exercise section and offers legal counselling and food aid.
The low-threshold meeting place provides guidance, counselling and group activities that promote healthy lifestyles and taking part in working life. Partners include STEA, employment services, the city, Eloisa, parishes and schools. Membership requires proof of unemployment, such as an employment-policy statement or a recent unemployment allowance receipt. Annual general meetings are open to members. The car park and entrance are wheelchair accessible.
