Founded in 1957, the association offers peer support and information for people with hearing impairments. It monitors statutory hearing services and seeks to influence regional decisions. Member activities include events and talks about hearing.
Trained hearing aid support volunteers help with tubes, batteries and earmould cleaning. Batteries and hearing aid tubes are also sold through the support service. Membership is open to people with hearing impairments.
