The local Finnish Heart Association group organises guided exercise, water aerobics, exercise events and heart clubs. Trained volunteers provide peer support, and courses are offered for people with heart disease. The group belongs to the regional Savo heart association network.
People can join as members or help organise activities. The national association's online service provides heart health information and recipes carrying the Heart Symbol label.
