Opened in spring 1981, this café is known for gingerbread, doughnuts and its own pastry, Aatoksen Unelma. The pastries and cakes are baked in the on-site bakery, and the cake range includes Iso äidin mansikkakakku (a large strawberry cake) and an apple crumble tart. Gluten-free products are also available.
The Charlotta hall on the second floor is used for wedding ceremonies and family celebrations, and the Takkatupa fireplace room, set by the old garden, can be used for meetings. The café belongs to a group that also runs guest rooms, a pizzeria, a cellar restaurant and a garden restaurant. The entrance is not wheelchair accessible.
