The bakery, confectionery and café share one roof in the town centre, and have served customers for about 50 years. Bread is baked the traditional way on a stone hearth, and oat bread is a favourite. There are sweet pastries, cakes and buns as well as savoury pastries and breads. Cream buns are a known speciality. Party platters can be ordered, such as sandwich cakes, layer cakes and special cakes, including for children's birthdays.
Layer cakes and many other products are lactose-free, and about 20 gluten-free products come from the Ilona bakery. Orders are taken by phone or in person only. The entrance and car park are not wheelchair accessible.
