Opened in 1986, the local heritage museum occupies a former parish grain store built in 1915. Displays explore rural life in the 1800s through tools, household objects and church silk textiles. A carriage decorated with lion heads is also exhibited.
Permanent displays include the Ääri general store museum, opened in 2005, and a banking exhibition with two old safes. Guided visits can be arranged for groups of at least five.
