Based on the Bible and the teaching of Christ and the apostles, this revival movement is active mainly in the Nordic countries and North America. Its central region is Swedish Lapland, where the Laestadian revival began.
Gatherings are open to everyone. They begin with a hymn, prayer and a reading of a Laestadius sermon, followed by a preacher speaking on a Bible passage. Prayer and a hymn conclude the gathering. The movement also undertakes work with children and young people. A toilet and accessible parking are available.
