Run by an association of northern Finnish designers, the centre presents design exhibitions throughout the year. The adjoining Design Shop sells design products, and design markets take place in summer and late autumn.
The centre opens on exhibition days. Accessible seating, an entrance, toilet and parking are available, but there is no hearing loop. The website is in Finnish and English, and applications to join the association can be made online.
