Founded in 1950, the regional non-profit promotes the wellbeing of children, young people and families in Northern Finland. It supports 53 volunteer-run local associations through training and guidance and works on youth participation, loneliness and bullying prevention.
Services are offered to families, municipalities and professionals. People can join or volunteer, including as support persons. A children's equipment rental service and home help for families in some areas are available. The entrance and parking are wheelchair accessible.
