The association provides information, guidance and activities for people caring for a relative. It advocates for carers' rights and develops services. Activities include peer groups, courses, leisure activities, training for volunteers with lived experience and support for care from a distance.
Advice is available by phone or personal appointment. Walk-ins are welcome at the Ommaiskortteeri centre without membership or formal carer status. Membership also connects carers to the national Family Caregivers' Association of Finland. Accessible seating, entrance, toilet and parking are provided.
If you received support as a family carer, share your experience in the comments to help others caring for relatives.
