The foundation promotes the Tierna Christmas mystery-play tradition performed by groups of boys. It organises a national competition with preliminary and final rounds, as well as seminars on the tradition.
Its website lists groups available to perform at events. Tierna-themed Christmas cards and gifts are sold online and in city-centre shops. Blackface makeup is not permitted at the foundation's events. The entrance is wheelchair accessible.
