Run by SOS Children's Villages Finland, this warm meeting place is for families with children and volunteer substitute grandparents of all ages. Volunteers cook together and eat at the same table, and activities include games, crafts and free play. It is open to all families living in the local area.
Children come with a parent or another trusted adult, and an SOS Children's Villages employee is always present. Parents get a break from everyday life and peer support, and volunteers receive training and ongoing support. New volunteers are recruited continuously. First-time visitors should message the organisation before coming. The space is in a community hall.
