Founded in 1983, the association offers peer support and activities for people with neuromuscular diseases and their relatives in North Ostrobothnia and Kainuu. It belongs to the Finnish Neuromuscular Disease Association and cooperates with Kainuun Neuroyhdistys in Kainuu.
Guidance covers disability services, personal assistance, transport support, home adaptation grants and informal carer support. Activities are announced on the website and Facebook. People can get involved as members or volunteers.
