Founded in 1917, the boys' Scout troop belongs to the Ostrobothnia Scout district and the national Scout organisation. Its programme runs from cubs aged 7–9 to rovers aged 18–22, with weekly meetings, weekend hikes and longer summer camps.
Trips also use the Myllykarhu cabin in Kiiminki. Members are welcome regardless of language, religion or background and register through the Kuksa membership system. Girls are directed to the sister troop.
