The construction trade union negotiates the sector's seven generally binding collective agreements and advises on pay, contracts, occupational safety and social matters. Members can access legal aid in disputes, courses, events and career services, including the Duunimylly job placement service.
Worksite inspections and cooperation with authorities address the grey economy and labour exploitation. Training is provided for shop stewards and safety representatives. The union publishes Rakentaja magazine, and its insurance fund offers health checks and dental services. This office's entrance is not wheelchair accessible.
