Built around 1495–1505, this medieval stone church is now a roofless ruin. Originally Catholic, it was adapted for Lutheran worship after the Reformation. Russian troops plundered it after the Battle of Kostianvirta in 1713. It was abandoned in 1839, and the roof collapsed in a storm in December 1890.
The parish regained ownership in 1905, and services resumed in the 1920s. A preservation association founded in 2002 maintains the walls and raises restoration funds. Concerts, services and weddings take place here, and the site can be hired for other celebrations. The entrance and car park are wheelchair accessible.
