Built in 1879, the church was designed by August Boman, with construction led by Jaakko Kuorikoski. The hall seats around 900. Frans Hautala painted the altarpiece depicting the risen Jesus blessing children in 1928. Three large paintings by Samuli Heimonen were added during the 2018 renovation.
The first organ was built by J. A. Zachariassen in 1889, and the second by Kangasalan Urkutehdas in 1944. The entrance, parking area and toilet are wheelchair accessible.
