The parish church has stood on the bank of the Kokemäenjoki since 1863. The congregation has around 19,000 members and organises worship and activities for children, families, young people, adults and older people. Its work also includes social support and mission activities.
Weddings, christenings, confirmation, home blessings and funerals can be arranged through the parish. Services are streamed on Facebook and YouTube, with a service programme and hymnal online. Church musicians handle concert bookings. The entrance, car park and toilet are wheelchair accessible.
