The Pentecostal congregation traces its roots to congregations founded in 1928 and 1930, which merged in 1931. Mission work has been part of its activity throughout, with its first missionary, Anna Mäkinen, sent to China in 1935. It publishes Opastaja magazine and runs a cell leader school for spiritual leadership training.
Activities include Bible teaching, youth gatherings and Sunday services, which are also streamed online. The building has an accessible entrance and toilet, with accessible parking outside.
