Founded in 1894, the Laestadian religious community holds weekly gatherings for children, young people, adults and older people. Activities are open to everyone. Its programme also includes sewing gatherings, All Saints' and autumn gatherings and services at Keski-Porin church.
Gatherings are streamed live on YouTube on the second Sunday of the month. The association supports Jämsä folk high school and its camps at Maitoinen and organises spring bazaars. The community house has a wheelchair-accessible entrance, car park and toilet.
