Founded in 1975, the club teaches traditional JKA Shotokan karate and is an official Japan Karate Association dojo. Classes and beginner courses cater for children, young people and adults. Juniors and adults can compete, though the stated focus is personal development.
Children aged two to five can attend family karate with a parent without prior experience. Flexible sports clothes and shoes are sufficient. Training takes place in the club's own hall. The club holds Finnish Olympic Committee star club recognition, and accessible parking is available.
