The wind orchestra has around 40 active players and is conducted by Tommi Tuominen. Its programme includes entertainment and Christmas concerts and classical wind music, with visiting Finnish soloists. Players range from upper secondary students to retirees.
Rehearsals take place on Monday evenings. New players should know the basics of their instrument and be able to read music. The orchestra also performs outdoor concerts and at care homes in Satakunta.
