Founded in 1974, the district advocates for pensioners in Satakunta and parts of Pirkanmaa. The politically non-partisan organisation links 32 local associations with the national union and other bodies.
Activities include sports competitions, trips, a cruise and social gatherings. The district runs regional training and supports association development. Visits to the office are by appointment.
