Founded in 1979, the publisher produces professional magazines, guides and books on environmental health, food services and the food industry. Its titles are Ympäristö ja Terveys, first published in 1970, and Elintarvike ja Terveys, established in 1986.
Publications can be bought from the company, which also organises national training on environmental health and food safety. Printed publications are produced in Finland. According to the company, printing emissions are compensated through tree planting and the office uses renewable electricity.
