This private doll and toy museum is in the old town, close to the Town Hall Square. It was founded in 1974 by toy enthusiasts Evi and Jorma Söderlund. The collection holds over a thousand dolls and old toys from the 1800s to the 2000s. Visitors, children and adults alike, can learn about the history of toys and share memories and stories across generations.
It is open daily in the summer season and irregularly at other times, with opening hours available by phone or message. The car park and entrance are not wheelchair accessible. The website is in Finnish, Swedish and English.
