One of Finland's oldest navigation clubs, it was founded in 1958. The club belongs to the Finnish Navigation Federation and runs the federation's Swedish-language skipper courses. Participants can take the skipper examination and then apply for membership.
Activities include theoretical navigation training, practical exercises and further training. Social events bring together members who share an interest in boating. The club publishes a club magazine and a blog called Loggboken, and uses WhatsApp for member communication. Its sponsors advertise in the magazine.
