This nature reserve in Pöytyä is one of the largest wilderness-like areas in Southwest Finland. It is named after a lake that lies outside its boundaries. Visitors can expect almost undisturbed quiet, with the calls of cranes and the hum of dragonflies.
The reserve has hiking routes and outdoor facilities, and it is reached by car. Information on routes, services and directions is published by Metsähallitus on its Luontoon.fi website.
