The hotel and its restaurant share one website. The hotel was founded in 1998 to provide restaurant, accommodation and meeting services, and was expanded in 2008, 2010 and 2017, so it now spans three city blocks. Ownership changed in early 2023, when Kimmo Rossi took over from Kari Haataja, who ran the hotel from 2012 to 2023. The operator's stated values are humanity, locality, ecology and family values.
The restaurant serves a weekday lunch buffet and takeaway lunch, plus an à la carte menu from refined dishes to traditional Finnish home cooking and burgers. The lunch menu marks gluten-free, lactose-free and vegetarian options. A lobby bar offers a relaxed space, and meeting rooms come with equipment and catering. Themed events include a live music evening and a Father's Day menu. Wi-Fi, parking and breakfast are included, there is a sauna, pets are welcome and the building is non-smoking. There is no pool or gym.
