Created in 2015 through the RaumArs artist residency programme, the community artwork combines bobbin lace and maritime culture using contemporary art methods. Its artists are Glenn Messersmith, Suzanne Morlock and Tarmo Thorström, with VALO workshops also taking part.
The sculpture stands in Parpansali park. Its original wire lace section was replaced with tar-impregnated rope in 2020.
